Venango County Human Services works hand-in-hand with various local support groups. Support groups are organizations of people who share a common experience, or medical issue like depression or anxiety, and who meet together to discuss their experiences, share ideas, and provide emotional support for one another. Usually a support group is led by a member who has had some training in facilitating group discussions.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Bereavement Support

We offer several support groups for adults after the death of a loved one, and children / youth bereavement camps.
