Overview of Service

This is a screening tool for children under 5 that detects early childhood delays. Works in conjunction with CYFS service coordinators to screen children to determine if a referral is needed for Early Intervention. Must be open with Venango County Human Services. 

Eligible Population

  • Birth to age 5

Average Length of Service

  • One visit for each scheduled screening

Frequency & Location of Contacts

  • One screening per referral
  • Screenings will occur in the home

Core Components of the Service

  • Individual developmental screenings are provided 1 to 3 times per year depending on the age of the child.
  • Provider will provide screening results with recommendations.
